About UK & Ireland 2028 Limited
UK & Ireland 2028 Limited is the local organising committee responsible for delivering UEFA EURO 2028 across the UK & Ireland. We work on behalf of the five Football Associations and in partnership with governments, host cities, stadiums and delivery partners to plan and deliver the tournament safely, inclusively and to world-class standards.
About UEFA EURO 2028
UEFA EURO is one of the world’s largest sporting events. In 2028, it will be hosted across multiple cities in the UK & Ireland, requiring large-scale coordination across transport, infrastructure, stadiums and public services. UEFA owns the tournament and sets requirements; UK & Ireland 2028 Limited is responsible for delivering it locally.
The Role
UEFA EURO 2028 will bring together thousands of volunteers across nine stadiums, eight Host Cities and four Nations.
Our volunteers will be at the heart of the tournament, welcoming the world, supporting match and non-match operations and helping create an unforgettable experience for fans, teams and local communities.
We’re looking for Venue Volunteer Managers across our eight Host Cities to lead the local delivery of our stadium volunteer programme.
You’ll help attract, recruit, train, schedule, deploy and support the volunteers who will play a vital role in making UEFA EURO 2028 happen.
Where you’ll work
If appointed, you’ll be assigned to one of our eight Host Cities:
London | Birmingham | Manchester | Liverpool | Newcastle | Cardiff | Glasgow | Dublin
We operate a hybrid working model. You should expect to work from the central project office in your appointed Host City for up to three days each week, with the remaining working time typically able to be worked from home.

As we move closer to tournament delivery in 2028, the role will become increasingly operational. You should therefore expect to spend more time at the Host Stadium, volunteer facilities and other tournament locations in your Host City, particularly during key recruitment, training and tournament-delivery periods.
