Optegra has an exciting job opportunity for a Bank Optometrist to join our friendly and supportive Virtual Clinic Team in our Private Pathway. This is a zero-hour contract offering flexible shifts and pays £35-42 hourly rate dependent on expertise and experience. Must have refractive experience.

Duties and responsibilities

Deliver virtual consultations to assess the suitability of prospective patients for cataract and refractive surgery procedures.  Support the ongoing development of Virtual Clinics at Optegra, delivering the KPIs that drive excellence in the clinical and commercial aspects of the Vision Correction pathway. 

Requirements

- Current GOC registration as a fully qualified optometrist

- Experience of working as an optometrist in Cataract and Refractive Surgery pathway

- Experience in delivering virtual consultations (desirable)

- Experience of using patient administration systems and electronic medical record systems

- Experience of working to conversion targets and other KPIs within Refractive Surgery
