The Role:
We're seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Buyer / Buyer to work closely with our Head of Online Trading and Buying teams. You will work to deliver our online range expansion strategy, sourcing high-quality suppliers, and developing strategic category trading plans. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our business by bringing exciting new products and amazing value to our customers.
What You'll Do:
Drive the dropship range expansion and nurture existing supplier relationships to boost sales and profitability.
Negotiate profitable trading terms with suppliers.
Ensure new suppliers and product ranges align with our existing strategy.
Develop and execute strong, profitable trading plans to excite customers and drive sales.
Liaise with internal departments to implement the product strategy and maximize customer reach.
Stay ahead of market trends, including social media, to understand evolving consumer behavior and introduce innovative and culturally relevant products..
What You’ll bring:
Strong understanding of e-commerce trading, including PPC, email, and social media's influence on consumer buying habits.
Minimum 3 years of experience buying for an online category with a demonstrable track record of exceptional growth.
Solid understanding of the dropship channel and its associated risks and rewards.
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Highly organised with a strong background in negotiation and influencing.
Adaptable and flexible in the dynamic e-commerce environment.
E-commerce and social media savvy.
