Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Check Manager to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and operational standards.

About the role:

• Understanding the General Trading Agreements (GTAs) and specific Aircraft Maintenance Contracts pertaining to their allocated Inputs.
• Identifying manpower, facility, tooling and spares requirements in advance of their allocated Maintenance Inputs.
• Assessing Work Scopes, Work Orders and Customer Requests in order to: articulate the viability and value of relevant engineering solutions; Estimate manpower and materiel requirements for tasks.
• Inform the commercial negotiation of the effect of work-pack changes on agreed TATs and budgets.
• Develop the Aircraft Project Plan to deliver the task(s) on time and on budget
• Embrace and support cultural and procedural changes within the business.

What We're Looking For

• UK Part 66 Licence B1 and/or B2, plus Cat C rating
• Airbus A320 CEO/NEO Type rating and recency is highly desirable but we will consider Boeing 737 NG, Boeing 757 (RR).

Successful applicants will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:

• Aircraft maintenance background within a Part-145 environment.
• Previous experience as a Check Manager, Lead Engineer, Base Maintenance Supervisor or similar role.
• Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance planning and project management.
• Excellent customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead teams, manage resources and deliver against demanding operational targets.
• Knowledge of maintenance management systems.
• Understanding aircraft check data and making informed and appropriate decisions.
