We’re now looking for an experienced and motivated Customer and Sales Support Team Leader to help drive performance, develop our people, and ensure an outstanding customer experience. The Role

As Customer & Sales Support Team Leader, you'll support the Customer & Sales Support Manager in the day-to-day leadership and development of the Customer Support and Sales Support teams. You'll play a key role in ensuring project pipelines, lead management, quotation processing, and customer service standards are delivered efficiently while helping the team achieve productivity and performance targets.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills, a customer-focused mindset, and experience working within a fast-paced sales support or customer service environment.

Key Responsibilites 

• Support the Customer and Sales Support Manager with day to day leadership and development of the Customer Support and Sales Support teams
• Lead, coach, and develop team members through inductions, training, and performance support
• Champion a positive health and safety culture, and ensure procedures are followed
• Monitor lead quality and accuracy in Keylink, and ensure lead, quotation, and customer data is recorded accurately and on time
• Manage customer enquiries with prompt, professional resolution, and foster a customer first culture
• Coordinate communication between internal departments and external sales teams, produce reports for key customers and senior management, and support departmental administration and reporting
• Provide cover across team functions when required, and in the absence of the manager, oversee team performance and day to day operations
• Ensure departmental objectives align with wider regional and company goals
• Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role and within your capability.

About you

• Previous team leader or supervisory experience in customer service or sales support
• Strong leadership, coaching, and people development skills
• Outstanding customer service and relationship management
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• Confident managing workloads, priorities, and deadlines in a fast paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships across departments
• Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Proactive approach with strong problem solving and decision making skills
• A commitment to continuous improvement and delivering high quality results
