Hours: Sundays 8:00am to 4:00pm and Mondays 4:00pm to 9:00pm

Links View is a modern Extra Care Living facility offering 59 high-quality one and two-bedroom apartments for older adults who wish to retain their independence while benefiting from a safe, supportive community.

About the Role

As Duty Manager, you'll be a key figure within Links View, overseeing the smooth day-to-day operation of the facility and helping to create a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable environment for residents, visitors, and colleagues alike.

You'll provide leadership during your shifts, support your team to deliver excellent service, and act as a trusted point of contact for residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading the day-to-day operation of the service during your shifts.
• Providing guidance, support, and motivation to colleagues.
• Creating a safe, friendly, and supportive environment for residents and visitors.
• Building positive relationships with residents, families, care providers, and healthcare professionals.
• Monitoring staffing arrangements and escalating concerns where appropriate.
• Responding effectively and compassionately to incidents and emergencies.
• Maintaining accurate records, reports, and daily documentation.
• Promoting independence, wellbeing, dignity, and choice for all residents.
• Championing a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

 

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a positive, proactive individual who leads by example and shares our passion for providing outstanding customer service and support.

Essential

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
• GCSE English Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent).
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• A warm, professional, and approachable manner.

Desirable

• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
• Experience within housing, care, health, hospitality, retirement living, or customer service settings.

Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
