What You'll Be Doing

As our Recruitment & Retention Officer, you'll take a leading role in ensuring ICare attracts and retains exceptional talent across our services.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Create engaging, high-impact job adverts that attract quality candidates.

✅ Source candidates through job boards, social media, recruitment fairs, networking opportunities, and innovative recruitment campaigns.

✅ Build strong partnerships with Hiring Managers and support recruitment planning across multiple locations.

✅ Deliver an outstanding candidate experience from application through to onboarding.

✅ Arrange interviews and provide recruitment guidance to operational managers.

✅ Conduct pre-employment checks, references, right-to-work checks, and compliance processes.

✅ Ensure candidates complete onboarding requirements and mandatory training.

✅ Produce recruitment reports and analyse recruitment trends.

✅ Develop relationships with Job Centres, colleges, community organisations, and local employment providers.

✅ Attend and organise recruitment events and job fairs.

✅ Conduct exit interviews and support retention initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and reducing turnover.

Experience & Skills

Essential

• Previous recruitment experience
• Strong administrative and organisational skills
• Experience sourcing candidates through multiple channels
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Experience building effective stakeholder relationships
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle

Desirable

• Recruitment experience within the Health and Social Care sector
• Experience recruiting across multiple locations
• Knowledge of recruitment fairs and community engagement initiatives
• Understanding of employee retention and engagement strategies
