We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable health and social care professional who is ready to inspire the next generation of skilled and compassionate practitioners.
You may currently be working within the NHS, a residential or community care setting, social services, public health or another related organisation. Alternatively, you may already be teaching or delivering workplace training within further education or the health and social care sector. Wherever you are working now, you will bring relevant industry knowledge, strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help young people achieve their potential.
As our Lecturer in Health and Social Care, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons that connect theory with real-life practice. You will assess learning, monitor student progress and create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will also contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance and the wider life of the College.
You will hold a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject and have at least one year’s experience in a teaching or training role. Experience of working within the health and social care sector is essential. A teaching qualification is desirable; however, if you do not already hold one, we will support you to achieve it.
At Riseholme College, you will join a supportive and collaborative Health and Social Care department committed to preparing students for careers across health, care and community services. Through engaging teaching, practical learning and strong employer links, you will have the opportunity to share your expertise while making a genuine difference to students’ futures.
If you are an approachable, resilient and inspiring professional looking to bring your industry experience into education, we would love to hear from you.
