Are you an experienced Vehichle or Landbased Engineering professional looking for a role where you can put your industry expertise to real use while helping the next generation of engineers build successful careers?
As a Vehicle and Land-Based Engineering Coach & Assessor, you’ll bring your practical industry experience into the classroom and workplace, supporting apprentices across Level 2 and Level 3 Land-Based Engineering. You’ll understand the demands of industry and be able to turn your knowledge into engaging, practical and inspiring learning that gives apprentices the skills, knowledge and behaviours they need to succeed.
You may currently be working in land-based engineering, agricultural machinery, construction, motor vehicle or the wider engineering industry, perhaps as an engineer, technician, supervisor or experienced tradesperson. Alternatively, you may be an experienced Motor Vehicle Tutor or have a motor vehicle specialism, with transferable technical knowledge and skills that can support the delivery of our land-based engineering programmes.
You may already work in education, training or assessment and be looking for an opportunity to make a greater impact through employer engagement and apprenticeship delivery. If you are new to teaching or assessing, we will support you to gain the relevant qualifications.
Based within our Services to Business team at Bishop Burton College, you’ll work closely with employers to deliver high-quality apprenticeships, workforce development and training that responds directly to industry needs. You’ll build strong relationships with employers, support apprentices throughout their journey and help grow our apprenticeship provision across the construction and engineering sectors.
