Epson Telford Limited was established in 1987, we are on a 50-acre site and operate a 24/7 manufacturing site.

We are the only European manufacturing and distribution site for ink cartridges and textile inks. These products are shipped to an Epson warehouse in Germany where they are then distributed throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Quality and innovation are at the heart of everything we do, from our Cleanroom environment to our in-house machinery, design, and technology improvements from which we use our own Epson 6-axis robots.

Hours of work:

Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm and Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm

Salary:

£41,368

Main job functions:

• To carry out scheduled/non-scheduled tool overhauls (D.C.A’s) in accordance with the Departments procedures
• To carry out in depth tooling repairs
• Provide Engineering support to the Injection Moulding Department at the request of the Injection Moulding Manager
• Control and implementation of Tool Room machinery maintenance programs/contracts
• Ensure Daily Safety Checks of all Tool Room machinery are carried out on a daily basis and appropriate check sheets completed
• Control of Departmental Chemicals and usage in accordance with COSHH regulations

• To ensure all Department activities conform to the requirements of l Department activities conform to the requirements of BS EN ISO9001
• Ensure all Daily Checks of all tool room machinery is carried out to comply with Departmental requirements

Qualifications:

Essential:

• HNC and equivalent in Engineering  

Desirable:

• Time served Apprenticeship in a Toolroom or Engineering environment

Experience:

Essential:

• Previous experience in an Toolroom Environment
• Knowledge in the use of all manual machines – CNC, Spark Eroders, Wire Eroders and CNC Miller
• Auto CAD Software
• Ability to work from CAD drawings to produce parts
