Role Overview

As a Production Operative, you’ll work as part of a busy team producing and packing fresh and frozen seafood products to the required quality, safety and customer standards.

Your role could include preparing ingredients, feeding production lines, packing products, checking quality, operating equipment and keeping your area clean and safe.  Full training is available, with opportunities to develop your skills and progress.

Pay: £12.95 an hour
Location: Annan
Working Pattern: Monday - Thursday 5:30am - 1:45 pm, Friday 5:30am-12:30pm

The Ideal Candidate

You’ll be reliable, practical and comfortable working as part of a busy production team. You’ll also need to:

• Follow food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures
• Prepare, process and pack pork products to specification
• Check product quality, including size, weight and presentation
• Operate equipment safely following training
• Pack and label products accurately
• Keep your work area clean and organised
• Work to production targets and daily plans
• Report any product, equipment or safety issues

Previous food manufacturing experience is useful but not essential as training will be provided.
