Are you practical, reliable, and take pride in maintaining high standards behind the scenes? We’re looking for a dedicated Maintenance Operative to support the day-to-day upkeep of our cinema and help ensure a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for every guest.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has a keen eye for detail, and takes a proactive approach to problem-solving. If you’re confident tackling a variety of maintenance tasks and take satisfaction in keeping environments running smoothly — we want to hear from you!

Working Hours

20 hours per week over 4/5 days which must include Monday and Friday.

The Role

• Supporting the overall maintenance and upkeep of the cinema facilities
• Carrying out a wide range of repair and maintenance tasks
• Completing regular inspections to identify and resolve issues quickly
• Ensuring auditorium seating is safe, functional, and well-maintained
• Assisting with internal and external building upkeep, including painting
• Conducting regular walkarounds with management to log and resolve issues
• Maintaining clean, safe, and organised work areas
• Using equipment safely and correctly following training
• Following all Health & Safety and manual handling procedures
• Attending training, including fire safety, and keeping up to date with company procedures

What We’re Looking For

• Ability to carry out a variety of maintenance tasks
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Adaptable and solution-focused approach

Desirable:

• Previous experience in a maintenance role
• Experience assembling or repairing seating or similar equipment
