Can you support a group of 3 individuals living with learning disabilities in their own home in Stanford Le hope.

We are seeking a kind, person centred person who enables people to maintain their independence, dignity and wellbeing. You will be required to work 1 x 24-hour shift followed by 5 days off. Full training given in diabetes support and working for those experiencing early onset dementia; ensuring a safe healthy and good quality of life.

Experience Requirement
Essential:
Experience supporting individuals with additional needs
Experience implementing care or support plans
Experience working in community or supported living settings

Desirable:
Experience supporting people with:
Autism
Epilepsy
Diabetes
Dementia

Other Requirements
Essential:
Commitment to supporting independence and dignity
Willingness to undertake ongoing training
Ability to travel within the borough
Flexibility to work unsociable hours
Desirable:
NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
First Aid qualification
Training in medication administration
Knowledge of insulin administration
Communication skills such as Makaton or Sign Language
GCSE English (or equivalent)
