Whether you're currently working on site as a Bricklayer, Site Supervisor or skilled tradesperson, or you're already working in education and looking for your next challenge, this could be the opportunity for you.
As a Lecturer in Bricklaying at Bishop Burton College, you'll bring your practical experience to life, delivering engaging, hands-on teaching that gives students the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to progress into successful careers in the construction industry. You'll support learners through their practical development while helping them understand the standards, techniques and professional behaviours expected in the workplace.
You don't need to have spent your whole career in education. We're looking for someone who knows their trade, is passionate about construction and enjoys helping others learn. If you're an experienced industry professional who is considering a move into teaching, we'll support you to develop your teaching skills and qualifications.
