Are you an inspiring educator with a passion for English and maths and a proven ability to drive student success? We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Curriculum Lead in Maths & English to join our team at Riseholme College.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and coordinate the delivery of GCSE and Functional Skills English and Maths programmes, supporting learners across a range of vocational curriculum areas. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality teaching, learning and assessment, driving improvements in student achievement, attendance, retention and progression, while contributing to the continual development of an innovative and inclusive curriculum.
As Curriculum Lead, you will provide day-to-day leadership for lecturers and learning support staff, oversee quality assurance processes, support curriculum development and work collaboratively with vocational departments to embed English and maths skills within vocational learning. You will also contribute to recruitment activities, performance management processes and strategic curriculum initiatives that support the College's wider objectives.
We are looking for an individual with a relevant degree, a teaching qualification at Level 5 or above (or significant progress towards one), and experience of teaching and achieving positive student outcomes. Strong leadership skills, excellent communication, a commitment to educational excellence and a passion for helping learners succeed are essential. Previous team leadership experience would be advantageous.
