We are currently seeking a Care Support Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team, supporting a client based in Kent.

About the Role

As a Care Support Assistant, you will receive full training to help you thrive in your role and gain confidence in providing quality care.

This position is a part-time role and involves 24 hours per week, including day and evening shifts on a two week rolling rota.

Shifts currently are: 

Week 1

Monday 9am – 11am, 2pm – 3pm

Tuesday 9am – 11am,  2pm – 3pm

Wednesday 9am – 11am, 2pm – 3pm, 7pm – 8pm

Thursday 9am – 11am, 2pm – 3pm, 7pm – 8pm

Friday 9am – 11am, 2pm – 3pm

Saturday 7am – 11am, 12:30pm – 2:30pm, 4pm – 5pm, 7pm – 9pm

Week 2

Monday 9am – 11am, 2pm – 3pm

Tuesday 9am – 11am, 2pm – 3pm

Wednesday 9am – 11am, 2pm – 3pm, 7pm – 8pm

Thursday 9am – 11am, 2pm – 3pm

Sunday 7am – 11am 12:30pm – 2:30pm, 4pm – 5pm, 7pm – 9pm

Your Responsibilities as a Care Support Assistant

• Meeting our client's complex health needs including personal care, epilepsy management and gastrostomy care
• Assisting clients in their daily routines, encouraging independence wherever possible
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Helping with household tasks and meal preparation
• Supporting clients to attend appointments and community activities
• Administering medication when required

What We’re Looking For

To be successful as a Care Support Assistant, you’ll need:

• A caring and empathetic nature
• Good communication skills
• A genuine desire to support others
• Basic IT and record-keeping skills
• A full UK driving licence is advantageous
• Previous experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided
