About the role…

As a Project Engineer at Core Controls you will play a key role in designing, building and implementing engineering solutions across multiple industries. You will work closely with customers, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of cutting-edge solutions that meet customer requirements, adhere to industry standards, and achieve project objectives. You are responsible for the work you complete being compliant with laws, regulations, standards, specifications and codes of practice as applicable.

As a Project Engineer you will…

  • Work with our CAD engineer(s) to design panel layouts considering component spacing for heat dissipation, cable bend radius, cable segregation and access for construction/maintenance etc.
  • Create and modify PLC, SCADA & HMI software.
  • Design and assist the construction of test arrangements within our workshop.
  • Create a Site Test Specification document ensuring all functionality is thoroughly tested including all conceivable faults in hardware, software and operation

About you…

You’re a hands-on, driven engineering professional with strong PLC/SCADA expertise and a passion for delivering high-quality automation solutions. Comfortable owning projects end-to-end, you combine technical excellence with a practical, problem-solving approach. You thrive working with customers and teams, ensuring solutions are safe, compliant, and delivered on time.

You will be required to travel to site so you will need to a hold a full UK driving licence.
