East Sussex College is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant Bootcamp Lecturer to deliver two level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning Skills Bootcamp programmes from September to December.
One at our Eastbourne Campus and the second at our Hastings Campus, you will deliver two six-week Bootcamp programmes, teaching for approximately two days per week. Working with adult learners from diverse backgrounds, you will support them to gain the Level 3 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning, develop key employability skills and successfully progress into employment within the education sector. The programme combines high-quality teaching with employer engagement activities, culminating in guaranteed interviews with local employers for eligible learners. Drawing on the programme content, learners develop their understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, child development and the role of play and leisure in supporting young people.
College location: Based at our Eastbourne & Hastings
Annual salary: Circa £32 - £35 per hour including holiday.
(Subject to qualifications, skills and experience)
Hours: Sessional – Approx 2 day per week.
