Role Overview:
As a Systems Manager, you will lead the front-end operation and play a key role in delivering an efficient, friendly and professional checkout experience. You will oversee the day-to-day running of the till area, support and coach the till team, and ensure high standards of service, accuracy and presentation are maintained at all times. You will also be responsible for all service areas of the store. These include our Welcome Desk and Fitting Rooms, with a focus on Duty Manager and our customer journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, support and motivate the till team, welcome desk and fitting room assistants to deliver excellent customer service.
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the till, welcome desk and fitting room area's, and ensure smooth front-end trading.
- Monitor customer flow and manage queues effectively during busy periods.
- Ensure all transactions are processed accurately, including cash and card payments.
- Take responsibility for till balancing, cash handling and reconciliation procedures.
- Support with training, coaching and development of your teams.
- Handle customer queries and escalations in a professional and helpful manner.
- Maintain a tidy, organised and welcoming checkout area, welcome desk and fitting rooms.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, security procedures and health and safety standards.
- Work closely with store management and other departments to support the wider store operation.
