The role…

The epidemiologist position is a great opportunity for a motivated university graduate, postdoctoral associate or early career professional to develop an in-depth understanding of the healthcare industry.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Review data from a variety of sources (e.g. published research articles, survey data, cancer registries) to produce descriptive and analytical epidemiology reports for major drug indications.
  • Produce epidemiological reports focusing on the prevalence of specific diseases for primarily G7 and BRIC countries, as well as ad hoc reports for additional countries as required
  • Monitor and maintain the quality and integrity of the company’s state-of-the-art epidemiology database
  • Review and enhance the company’s epidemiology database to ensure accuracy and relevance to the indications covered
  • Liaise with and/or support other company units in developing new products and completing global consulting projects
  • Support the sales team on an ad hoc basis

What we’re looking for…

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Epidemiology or closely-related field
  • 1-3 years’ experience in epidemiological forecasting 
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and one or more statistical packages (SAS, STATA, SPSS)
  • Excellent English language skills, both spoken and written
