£13.70 per hour

We are recruiting two Hotel Welcome Hosts to join our team:

• 1 position – 40 hours per week
• 1 position – 25 hours per week

We are looking for friendly, confident and hands-on people to join our team at Four Points Flex by Sheraton London Shoreditch East.

As a Hotel Welcome Host, you will be one of the main points of contact for our guests throughout their stay. This is a varied, guest-facing role covering both Reception and Food & Beverage, so you will be comfortable moving between different areas of the hotel and supporting the guest journey from arrival through to departure.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes ownership of guest requests and contributes to a smooth, welcoming and efficient hotel experience.

What you’ll be doing

Your role will support the day-to-day guest experience across both Reception and Food & Beverage.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming guests and creating a friendly and professional first impression.
• Delivering smooth and efficient check-in and check-out experiences.
• Handling guest enquiries, requests and concerns, taking ownership through to resolution.
• Managing reservations, payments, room allocations and guest profiles accurately within Opera.
• Providing guests with accurate information about the hotel, local area, transport and available services.
• Working closely with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure rooms and guest requests are managed effectively.
• Supporting breakfast and Food & Beverage service as part of the daily hotel operation.
• Serving food and drinks in line with hotel standards and licensing requirements.
• Setting up, maintaining and clearing Food & Beverage areas.
• Handling cash, card payments and daily financial procedures accurately.
• Promoting Marriott Bonvoy and supporting enrolment and member recognition.
• Maintaining clean, organised and welcoming guest areas.
• Following hotel procedures relating to fire safety, health & safety, food safety, licensing and security.
• Following departmental operating standards and procedures.
• Supporting colleagues across the hotel during busy periods.
• Helping ensure every guest receives a consistent and positive experience across the hotel.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with guests and is comfortable in a varied hotel role where teamwork and flexibility are important.

Ideally, you will have:

• Previous experience in hospitality, Reception, Food & Beverage or another customer-facing role.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• A friendly, confident and professional approach.
• Good attention to detail.
• The ability to take ownership of guest requests and resolve issues effectively.
• The ability to work independently while also supporting the wider hotel team.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Good computer skills and confidence using Microsoft 365.

Experience using Oracle Opera PMS is highly desirable.

Previous experience within a Marriott-branded hotel or knowledge of Marriott Bonvoy would be an advantage, but is not essential.

Four Points Flex by Sheraton London Shoreditch East is a 161-bedroom hotel located in Bethnal Green, East London, close to Shoreditch and with excellent transport connections into central London.

Our Welcome Hosts work across both Reception and Food & Beverage, helping create a seamless guest experience throughout the hotel. The role is varied and hands-on, with teamwork at the centre of how we operate.
