Location: Remote in the UK
Work pattern: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, flexible working options considered
Salary: Up to £44,289.75 per year

Responsibilities of our Community Impact Manager:
Translate evidence and sector-leading research from Cats Protection’s Feline Epidemiologist and Research Scientists into practical, scalable operational approaches
Lead the development and embedding of robust impact measurement frameworks
Oversee the evaluation of all community-based service delivery, assessing impact on cat welfare, cat population data and communities to inform future outreach activity and models.
Develop, coordinate and deliver projects arising from Cat Welfare & Operations priorities and the organisational change portfolio
Play a critical role as part of the Outreach management team in shaping and delivering an effective strategy for Cats Protection’s Community Operations Outreach
About the Community Outreach team:
We support community outreach and engagement activities across the UK, with focused projects in communities. Creating societal change through raising awareness and knowledge of good cat welfare.
We work closely with colleagues across Operations, Research and other departments to test, learn and develop effective approaches.
We are committed to volunteer-led and community-led solutions that empower people and strengthen local capacity.
What we’re looking for in our Community Impact Manager:
Experience in delivering and managing continuous improvement and/or service design initiatives, using research, evidence and learning to improve services within a large or geographically dispersed organisation
Experience of using data to define success, measure impact, analyse performance and inform decision-making, and knowledge of data recording, reporting and governance requirements, and data collection methodologies
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. data cleaning, validation, manipulation, merging of datasets and visualisations)
Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
Knowledge of the volunteering sector including current and future trends
Knowledge of project management methodologies, with a qualification in Project Management, or willingness to work towards this (AMP, PRINCE2 etc)
