We are looking for an organised and commercially minded Hotel Accounts Assistant to support the hotel’s day-to-day finance operations. Reporting to the General Manager and working with the Group Finance team, you will help ensure accurate revenue processing, reconciliations, account administration and financial reporting.
Review and reconcile daily hotel revenue, payments and banking.
Maintain accurate customer, company and financial records.
Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on account queries.
Process invoices, receipts and other finance documentation.
Support income audit, month-end procedures and financial reporting.
Prepare reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
Liaise with Front Office, Food & Beverage, Events and other departments.
Assist with payroll information, VAT, audit and compliance requirements.
Maintain strong financial controls and support improvements to finance processes.
Previous experience in finance, accounts or administration.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Experience with reconciliations and financial records.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and finance systems.
Strong communication skills and a practical, problem-solving approach.
Hotel or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential.
Relevant accounting qualification or studies are an advantage.
