The Radisson Blu Hotel, Cork is looking for a qualified and customer-focused Lifeguard / Leisure Centre Attendant to join our team.

This is a customer-focused role where you’ll help create a safe, welcoming and enjoyable experience for our hotel guests and leisure members. We’re looking for someone who is confident dealing with people, takes pride in high standards and can remain calm and professional in a busy environment.

About you

• You hold a current and relevant Lifeguard Qualification
• You have excellent customer service and communication skills and enjoy working with people
• You’re confident dealing with members, hotel guests and the general public
• You have a strong understanding of pool safety, health & safety and emergency procedures
• You’re calm, professional and able to respond appropriately in an emergency
• You’re reliable, punctual and have a strong work ethic
• You’re positive, helpful and enjoy working as part of a team, while also being comfortable working independently
• You take pride in maintaining a clean, safe and presentable leisure environment
• You’re genuinely customer-focused and want to make a positive difference to the experience of our members and guests

The Role

As a Leisure Centre Attendant, you’ll help ensure the safe and smooth day-to-day operation of the leisure centre.

You’ll supervise the pool area, maintain safety standards, assist and engage with members and guests, respond to emergencies when required and ensure the leisure facilities are clean, tidy and welcoming at all times.
