Care Supervisor (Driver with Own Vehicle Required)

Location: Bromborough
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Flexibility: Must be available to participate in an on-call rota covering both our domiciliary care services and assisted living facility. This may include evening and weekend on-call responsibilities when required.
Job Share: We would consider two part-time candidates as a job share arrangement
Pay: £14.45 per hour (£28,177.50 per annum based on 37.5 hours per week), plus on-call payments

What You'll Be Doing

As a Care Supervisor, you will predominantly support the day-to-day running of our extra care services, as well as our domiciliary team, ensuring care is delivered safely, effectively, and to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and supervising care services to ensure excellent customer outcomes
  • Creating and managing staff rotas to maintain service coverage
  • Supporting care staff through supervision, guidance, and mentoring
  • Conducting service user reviews, spot checks, and quality monitoring visits
  • Maintaining accurate records and supporting compliance requirements
  • Assisting with investigations, complaints, and incident reporting when required
  • Liaising with service users, families, healthcare professionals, and commissioners
  • Participating in the on-call rota and providing emergency support when necessary
  • Delivering hands-on care where required to support service delivery
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, safeguarding standards, and health and safety requirements

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it)
  • Previous experience in a supervisory, senior care, or care coordination role within domiciliary care or extra care services
  • Strong leadership, communication, and exceptional organisational skills
  • A genuine passion for delivering person-centred care
  • Experience creating and managing staff rotas
  • The ability to work flexibly and respond to changing service needs
  • Confidence working independently and making informed decisions
  • A willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check

Essential Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Own reliable vehicle
  • Business insurance (or willingness to obtain Class 1 Business Insurance)
  • Ability to work from the office, in the extra care scheme and in the community as required
  • Availability for on-call duties and occasional weekend work
