Welcome Team Sales Manager – Luxury Wedding & Events Barn Venue

Location: Brookfield Barn, Horsham, West Sussex
Reports to: Regional Sales Manager / National Sales Manager
Contract: Full Time, Permanent (40 hours per week, 5 days over 7. Weekend working essential.)
Salary: £28,000 basic salary + uncapped monthly commission

As the first and primary point of contact throughout the sales journey, the Welcome Team Sales Manager plays one of the most influential roles within the business. You will be the face of Brookfield Barn, building meaningful relationships with every prospective couple / client from their initial enquiry through to booking, and their first exciting planning meeting.

This is far more than conducting venue tours. You are responsible for driving revenue, increasing conversion rates, creating exceptional first impressions, and ensuring every couple and client receives a highly personalised, professional, and memorable experience that reflects the quality of our venue.

As the Welcome Team Sales Manager at Brookfield Barn, you'll play a key role in representing both Brookfield Barn and The Artemis Collection, becoming an ambassador for our values of exceptional service, professionalism, teamwork and commercial excellence.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Own the complete sales journey from enquiry to confirmed booking.
• Conduct pre-qualification calls, venue show rounds and virtual tours.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences that build trust and excitement.
• Develop strong rapport with couples and clients, understanding their vision and requirements.
• Manage all follow-up communications to maximise visit-to-booking conversions.
• Achieve and exceed monthly revenue, sales and conversion targets.
• Conduct Welcome Back Meetings with confirmed wedding couples, introducing the planning process and upselling food, beverage and additional venue enhancements.
• Organise wedding showcases, and venue sales events in collaboration with preferred suppliers and team leaders at Brookfield Barn such as the head chef, bar manager and general manager
• Maintain expert knowledge of Brookfield Barn, wedding and events packages, catering and drinks offerings and prices.
• Complete seamless handovers to the Events Team, ensuring every couple and client receives a smooth transition into the planning stage.
• Work closely with regional management to review pipeline performance, conversion rates and sales strategy.

 

About You

We're looking for someone who is passionate about sales, customer service and creating memorable experiences.

You'll have:

• A minimum of 2 years' sales experience.
• A minimum of 1 year event management experience
• A proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue.
• Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive, organised and commercially focused approach.
• A passion for weddings, events, hospitality and premium customer experiences.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• A confident presenter who enjoys meeting new people.
• Self-motivated and target driven.
• Calm under pressure and able to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously
• A full UK driving licence.
