About the role…

As a Trenchless Water Utilities Operative you will…

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Operatives to join our Water Utilities repair and maintenance team operating across Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire.

This role offers the opportunity to work throughout the beautiful South West, developing new skills while supporting the delivery of essential water infrastructure services. Working as part of a close-knit team, you will assist with repair and maintenance activities, ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting repair and maintenance works across the water network.
  • Assisting with site setup and traffic management activities where required.
  • Following safe systems of work and company procedures.
  • Using tools and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Working collaboratively with team members and supervisors.
  • Delivering excellent service to customers and stakeholders.

About you…

You will be a hardworking team player who enjoys working outdoors and is keen to learn new skills. Previous experience within utilities, construction or civils would be beneficial, but we are equally interested in candidates with the right attitude and willingness to develop.

Essential requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Manual Handling
  • Abrasive Wheels
