Solicitor – Commercial Property Job (3+PQE)

Office base: Wigan, WN3 5BA – hybrid working available after a period of onboarding, with a minimum of 2–3 days per week in the office (or as agreed with the Department Manager)

The Role

We're always keen to hear from talented Commercial Property Solicitors with 3+ years' PQE.

Working alongside experienced Partners and Solicitors, you'll advise a diverse client base on a broad range of matters, including:

• Acquisitions and disposals
• Commercial landlord and tenant work
• Business leases and lease renewals
• Social housing transactions
• Development and regeneration projects

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a varied commercial property caseload from instruction to completion
• Draft and negotiate leases, contracts, transfers and related documentation
• Provide practical, commercially focused advice to clients
• Liaise with clients, agents, lenders and other professionals
• Support senior colleagues on complex transactions
• Ensure compliance with SRA and internal procedures
• Maintain effective file, WIP and financial management
• Contribute to business development and cross-referral opportunities
• Deliver excellent client care throughout

Essential

• Qualified Solicitor with a current practising certificate
• Minimum 3 years' PQE in Commercial Property
• Experience managing your own caseload
• Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills
• Excellent client care and commercial awareness
• Proficient with legal technology and case management systems
• Proactive and flexible approach

Desirable

• Social housing experience
• Development project experience
• Business development experience
• Existing professional network or following
