Your Role & What We Need From You

The Assistant Restaurant Manager plays a crucial part in our success by supporting the Restaurant Manager in leading the team, maintaining exceptional service standards, and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Key Requirements and Main Responsibilities:

• Previous experience in a similar supervisory or management role within a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant operation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with guests and colleagues.
• A creative thinker with a positive, can-do attitude and exceptional attention to detail.
• A confident, energetic, and passionate team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while remaining calm under pressure.
• A genuine passion for delivering exceptional service and hospitality.
• Act as the primary point of contact in the Restaurant Manager's absence, leading by example to ensure outstanding service and floor presence.
• Support the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service and consistently high standards.
• Work closely with the kitchen, bar, and wider hotel management teams to deliver a seamless guest experience across all food and beverage outlets.
• Coach, motivate, and develop the restaurant team through regular training and performance support.
• Drive revenue by encouraging suggestive selling techniques and promoting menu knowledge across the team.
• Assist in managing restaurant costs, stock control, labour scheduling, and departmental budgets to maximise profitability without compromising guest satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, health and safety, licensing, and company standards.
• Handle guest feedback professionally, resolving concerns promptly while creating memorable guest experiences.
