Supply Chain plays a critical role in keeping our business running smoothly, ensuring that materials, ingredients, packaging and finished products move efficiently through every stage of the operation. From receiving stock from suppliers, managing inventory levels, and supplying production teams, to preparing and delivering customer orders, Supply Chain is at the heart of maintaining customer service, product availability, and operational success.

Teams within the department include Intake, Despatch and Stocks:

Intake / Goods In: Responsible for receiving, checking, booking in, and storing stock accurately.

Despatch: Responsible for accurately picking, checking, preparing, and loading customer orders while ensuring compliance with food safety, temperature control, and site procedures.

Stocks Operative (Mezz): Responsible for receiving, checking and distributing stock internally across the business.

Places of Work

DBP: Sausage facility, Down Business Park, Downpatrick

OTB: Vegetarian facility, Down Business Park, Downpatrick

Hours of Work

7:00am - 5:00pm or 6:00pm – 4:00am/5:00am

5 days out of 7 days per week

Rate of Pay

£13.73 - £14.77 per hour

Requirements for the role

• Full training will be provided – up to 12 weeks training programme
• Good communication skills, including good English reading, writing and numerical.
• Ability to work as part of a team with self-motivation and initiative.
• Ability to carry out the demands of the role
• Previous experience within a food environment and an understanding of food hygiene and safety is desirable.
• All candidates should demonstrate core values at all times and have an understanding of and commitment to the Equality and Diversity Policy and ability to promote this day to day.
