As a Proseal Operator, you will play a key role within the production team, operating the Proseal machine in the production hall. This role is essential to ensuring products are sealed accurately and efficiently, maintaining product quality, freshness, and food safety standards.

6:00pm - 5:00am, 5 nights out of 7 days per week

Rate of pay (night shift):

Level 1 (training) £13.73 - Level 2 £13.95 per hour

Duties / Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor the Proseal machine in accordance with product specifications, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and health and safety requirements.
• Read and interpret production plans to ensure products are sealed accurately, efficiently, and in line with quality, food safety, and production targets.
• Complete production records accurately and in real time to maintain product

traceability and operational compliance.

• Carry out routine equipment checks, maintain a clean and safe work area, and follow all cleaning and maintenance procedures.
• Complete all required training and competency assessments, including SOP training, and develop the knowledge to safely operate and maintain the Proseal machine.
• Support the training and development of new operatives and undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the Production Manager.

Requirements

• Must be over 18 years of age
• Readiness to work / complete an on-the-job training programme (minimum 12 weeks).
• Ability to work as part of a team with self-motivation and initiative.
• Good communication skills including competent English language reading and numerical.
