• Hours: 22.5 hours per week across 3 days (these can be flexilbe depending on the successful candidate's availabilty)
• Salary: £40,000 - £49,000 FTE

We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join our growing multidisciplinary team, providing specialist therapeutic services to children and young people with complex communication needs across the London Borough of Barnet.

About the Role 

Working across a range of educational, community and home settings, you will assess, plan and deliver bespoke therapy programmes for individuals with complex speech, language and communication needs. You will work collaboratively with families, education staff and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes. 

We are looking for a therapist who has: 

• A recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
• Current HCPC registration 
• Significant post-qualification experience working with CYP with complex speech, language and communication needs e.g. speech sound delay/disorder, DLD, language disorder
• Experience of working with CYP with social communication difficulties or a diagnosis of Autism and/or ADHD. 
• Experience implementing and supporting Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and Total Communication approaches.
• Excellent assessment, report writing and communication skills
• The ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Experience of working with school age children with SEND.
