Job Description

  • Supporting the taste panel assistant in carrying out taste and consistency panels against approved quality standards
  • Trending of taste & consistency panel data and communication of summary to teams
  • Assisting with the screening of taste and consistency panel participants
  • Keeping the taste panel risk assessment live and up to date
  • Issuing sample collection schedules to the QA teams & supporting with sample collection
  • Trending organoleptic results against micro
  • Assisting the quality technologist with quality-based complaints and support with completion of complaint summaries in the absence of the quality technologist
  • Supporting the technical team with site audits and associated paperwork
  • Assisting the Technical Administrator with laboratory samples and logging
  • Support with and attend product launches
  • Completing quality checks of products on the production line, in storage and stores
  • Previous experience in a food-based environment
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
  • Good attention to detail
  • Excellent written and spoken English is required due to the nature of the role
  • Basic IT skills
