Job Title: Pharmacy Laboratory and Clinical Skills Technician
Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week (1.0 FTE)
Salary: £28,778 to £32,080 per annum, Band 3
About the Post
The post holder will provide comprehensive technical and administrative support to staff and students across a range of teaching, learning and research activities within the School. This includes the preparation, organisation, maintenance and development of specialist laboratory, clinical skills, simulation and practice-learning environments that support pharmacy education, including chemistry, pharmaceutics, biological sciences and clinical skills teaching as well as associated equipment, hardware, software and digital systems. The role involves supporting laboratory classes and clinical skills sessions, equipment management and ensuring that all facilities and resources operate efficiently, safely and in line with health and safety policies.
Responsibilities also include carrying out related administrative duties such as equipment ordering and maintenance, maintaining inventories and registers and ensuring compliance with mandatory procedures.
