About us
We are a fast-growing property group operating multiple brands across the Build to Rent and Purpose-Built Student Accommodation sectors. Our central Group Procurement team drives governance, operational consistency and commercial performance across a diverse and rapidly expanding portfolio.
As the business expands across the UK and Europe, robust supplier transitions and well-controlled contract mobilisations are essential. Procurement plays a central role in ensuring FM services are properly contracted, compliant and operationally ready from day one.
The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Procurement Mobilisation Manager to lead the contracting, onboarding and mobilisation of hard and soft Facilities Management suppliers across our UK and European portfolio, principally Italy and Spain.
This newly created role sits at the centre of new property, client and supplier transitions. You will manage mobilisation plans, contracts, novations, supplier readiness and operational handover, ensuring services go live safely, compliantly and on schedule.
In the UK, our Category Managers lead sourcing and tendering. Across Europe, local procurement and operational teams provide in-country sourcing support. You will take the lead on contracting, novations, supplier onboarding and mobilisation across both regions.
What you will do
- Lead procurement mobilisation plans for new properties, clients and supplier transitions across the UK and Europe.
- Manage new contracts, novations, assignments and replacement arrangements from approval through to execution.
- Work with UK Category Managers following supplier selection and support European local procurement teams with sourcing documentation, due diligence and Group governance.
- Coordinate the onboarding and mobilisation of hard and soft FM services, including cleaning, security, maintenance and statutory servicing.
- Coordinate asset registers, statutory records, service schedules, pricing information and other mobilisation data.
- Confirm supplier compliance, insurance, health and safety, operational, purchase order and invoicing requirements before go-live.
- Maintain project plans, risk logs and contract trackers, while keeping suppliers and geographically dispersed stakeholders on schedule.
- Complete structured handovers into business-as-usual category and contract management.
What you will bring
- Experience in procurement mobilisation, contract mobilisation or procurement-led service transition within Facilities Management.
- Experience of contracting, novations, supplier onboarding and mobilising hard and/or soft FM services.
- Experience within a multi-site property, PBSA, BTR, real estate or Facilities Management environment.
- Strong project coordination and stakeholder-management skills.
- Commercial confidence reviewing pricing, specifications and contractual requirements, with strong Microsoft Excel skills.
It would be advantageous if you have
- Experience supporting FM or property procurement activity in Europe, particularly Italy or Spain.
- Experience working with local procurement partners or geographically dispersed teams.
- Experience using procurement, contract-management or mobilisation systems.
- MCIPS, progress towards MCIPS or equivalent practical procurement experience.
- Spanish, Italian or another relevant European language.
