Senior Civil Enforcement Officer

This is a role for people who value independence, take responsibility seriously, enjoy working outdoors and are motivated to make a positive difference in their local community. As one of our Senior Civil Enforcement Officers - also known as Traffic Wardens or Parking Attendants not only will be helping keep streets safe, accessible and fair for everyone, you will also provide support to the team onsite as well as training and inducting new starters. Every day is varied and engaging, requiring accountability, sound judgement and the ability to work outdoors in all weathers while playing an important part in supporting the public and also supporting your team. 

What you’ll be doing: 

• Patrolling streets and car parks with confidence and professionalism  
• Supporting the public with clear, helpful guidance, including advice on where to park safely  
• Supporting your onsite team including carrying out inductions and training for new starers. 
• Spending extended periods outdoors on your feet, staying active in all weather conditions  
• Encouraging fair and safe parking by issuing notices when required  
• Helping to keep traffic moving and neighbourhoods accessible  
• Reporting issues such as abandoned vehicles or blocked access points  
• Working in partnership with local authorities and councils  
• Acting with integrity and contributing to a safer, more welcoming community

• Physically resilient and happy outdoors in all weathers 
• A high level of self-motivation and accountability 
• Strong people skills with a calm, professional, approachable manner 
• Care about fairness, community safety and doing the right thing 
• Confident and consistent when dealing with challenges 
• Driving Licence Preferred but not essential  
• Competent user of Microsoft Office
